The PV Community Food Bank has been an integral part of Paradise Valley Unified School District’s school nurses provision of services to their students and families.
On a regularly scheduled basis, the food bank delivers juice and crackers to the nurses’ offices, as well as weekend food supplies for families in need through the Weekend Food4Kids Program.
Through this partnership, nurses provide students with much needed food provisions to ensure proper nutrition and increase students’ attentiveness and performance in the classrooms.
Nurses throughout PV Schools are grateful for the support of the PV Community Food Bank and all they do for their students and families.
PV Community Food Bank’s mission is to provide food assistance to those individuals who are living in northeast Phoenix with food insecurity and hunger on a daily basis and who live in the 98 sq miles of the PV Unified School District.
We are a 501©(3) non-profit all volunteer food bank. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
